Gimlet

Ingredients:
2.5 oz gin
0.5 oz lime juice
0.5 oz simple syrup
lime slice/wedge garnish
ice

Equipment:
6 oz cocktail glass (optionally pre-chilled)
Jigger
Shaker

Directions:
Combine gin, lime juice, and simple syrup in shaker. Add ice and shake until the shaker gets cold to the touch and immediately pour into glass. Garnish with lime slice or wedge and serve.

Servings:
More than half of a cocktail glass.
